I am married with 2 children. In practice, I am interested in training new GPs and palliative care. In my spare time I enjoy watching films and anything that makes me laugh, and a pint of real ale always goes down well!’

I completed basic surgical training in Telford and Shrewsbury and stayed in the area that is now home, for GP training. I maintain an interest in minor surgery and orthopaedics. I’m a film enthusiast (mainly Sci-Fi and action) and I enjoy but play bad golf and am enjoying the struggle of training my “full of beans” springer spaniel called Jasper.’

‘I initially studied neuroscience for four years at Nottingham University but then decided I wanted to train as a Doctor. I undertook my medical training at Sheffield and moved to Shropshire in 2007 for my husband to complete his training as an intensive care doctor. We have two children at local schools and three pet pigs in the garden at home!

‘Born in Colchester and trained in London at’I grew up locally in Shropshire before moving to the Southwest for medical school where I enjoyed living near the coast and learning to surf. After graduating I completed my medical training in North Staffordshire and joined Wellington Road Surgery as a Salaried GP in 2020.
In my spare time I like watching films with family and friends, particularly sci-fi and comedy. Our Clinical Pharmacist can help you with all medicine queries including prescription requests, advice about indication and use of treatment and medication reconciliation after Hospital discharge. They can help you with a wide range of services including blood pressure reviews, asthma monitoring including inhaler technique and medication reviews.
